Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace at Sayville Plaza in Bohemia will open its 39,000-square-foot Italian specialty grocer on Friday at 5181 Sunrise Highway.

The specialty store, the company’s 12th, is known for its selection of meat and house-made Italian sausage. Its deli serves traditional Italian dishes, and the produce section offers domestic, imported and organic fruits and vegetables. The seafood counter features live lobsters and freshly caught seafood. The store also offers Italian baked goods, cheeses, candy and pasta.

“Bohemia is a community that values family, hard work and great food, and that is exactly who we are,” Mike Nelson, president of Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, which is headquartered in Melville, told LIBN.

“We are honored to open our doors here this Friday, to serve our neighbors with the freshest ingredients, recipes made from scratch and the warm hospitality that has defined Uncle Giuseppe’s for decades,” Nelson said.

Uncle Giuseppe’s, which has specialty markets across New York and New Jersey and eight on Long Island, is in growth mode. The company plans to open an additional market in Greenvale in early 2026 and another in Levittown later next year.
